Maria earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree in 2007 from Universidad Francisco.

Marroquin and was licensed to practice in Guatemala.  Upon immigrating to the US in 2008, she paused her career to build a family.  Maria earned her master’s degree of Architecture from Virginia Tech in 2019, the same year she joined Arnold Design Studio.
